When you create a new contact and enter data in any of the Last name, First name, or Company boxes on the General tab, a phonetic guide is automatically entered in the Yomi field. The phonetic guide is derived from the phonetic character strings used to enter the names with the Japanese IME.
If the phonetic guide is incorrect, you can edit it.
